What we store

When you sign up for an event, we store the name and email address you provide, which slot you signed up for, and when. If you create an account, we also store your email, display name, timezone, and (if you use a password) a securely hashed password — never the password itself.

Who can see it

The event's organizer can always see who signed up. Other participants only see your name if the organizer has turned on "show participant names" for that event — otherwise they see only how many spots are taken.

Emails we send

We send emails only related to your signups: a confirmation link, a receipt, optional reminders before the event, and account emails (password reset, email verification) if you create an account.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep forms secure. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes aggregate usage data on our behalf.

Advertising and the future

ReserveYourSlot is currently free and ad-free. In the future we may introduce advertising or paid features (see our Terms of Use). If we ever introduce advertising, we'll update this policy to explain what that means for your data before doing so.
